PSYMOTION – Private Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Personal Development
PSYMOTION was set up as an act of passion. It is the passion for the process through which people decide to leave behind those aspects of their personality that are no longer useful or are causing them pain and learn to change them with new aspects, more attuned to their present situation.
PSYMOTION was also set up out of discontent. It is the discontent of several young mental health professionals with the quality of the state-provided services, on one hand, and, on the other hand, with the superficiality of the simple, one-stop office consultation.
PSYMOTION intends to offer those who will become its clients quality services in the field of mental health, bringing together medicine and psychology in adequate doses, as agreed with each client.
Psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychology services
PSYMOTION deals in an integrated manner with the problems and difficulties in people’s psychological functioning, starting with the assessing our clients’ needs. Our clients are:

- Couples and families
PSYMOTION, in accordance with international guidelines, considers that psychotherapy is the first-line intervention in most psychological problems and psychiatric disorders of small and medium severity. Sometimes, psychiatric medication may be associated to psychotherapy, only following a clear agreement with the person seeking help and after all advantages and disadvantages of such a combination have been explained in detail.
PSYMOTION professionals are accredited by the all required national and international bodies regulating the work in the field of mental health. These professionals have acquired a significant experience in psychiatry, psychotherapy and personal development.
Regularly, PSYMOTION will launch special treatment programs, addressed at specific problems. At the moment, PSYMOTION has 6 such programs on offer:
· The play-therapy program for children
· The personal development and lifestyle program
· The integrated treatment for alcohol abuse and dependence program
· The integrated treatment for drug dependence program
· The integrated treatment for pathological gambling program

The trainers PSYMOTION employs are qualified to offer diplomas recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Public Health and The College of Psychologists.
